A certificate can only properly verify the identity of the server when it is signed by a trusted Certification Authority. You should consult your IT department whether your company has an internal Certificate Authority, in which case you can request certificates yourself, or through your IT staff. A certificate signed by an internal Certificate Authority is appropriate if you deploy V-Suite for intranet access only. Please contact your IT department on how to request and install an internal CA signed certificate.

If you deploy V-Suite for internet access you should install a certificate from an external, commercial certificate authority like GoDaddy or Verisign. Please contact your IT department on how to request an external CA signed certificate.

Once you have obtained your CA signed certificate for your V-Suite web server host you can install the certificate via the Server Certificates Feature in IIS.
